Summary
The Director – Technology Solutions leads a team of other technology experts responsible for technology oversite and growth of key disciplines. This role will be the driving force for innovation, operational excellence and adjudicating sound fiscal decisions to maximize profits. This position requires very strong people leadership, communication, and technical skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive simplification of practices and offerings in pursuit of efficiency
- Collaborate with Growth and Design to ensure Delivery alignment with go to market strategies
- Form, vet and accelerate innovations in technology product and service offerings.
- Ensure regular communication of new technology or process through (but not limited to) production of Road Shows, formalized training, and written articles
- Develop, implement and maintain change management methodology to support transitions to new technology or processes
- Partner with cross-divisional teams to support recruiting, training, and staffing of technical positions
- Drive technical training
- Manage technology implementation process of assigned events requiring non-standard workflows and/or highly complex engineering
- Key Stakeholder in partnership with inventory control, technology experts, purchasing and divisional leaders on CapEx planning
- Fiscally responsible for driving targeted profit margin into projects through partnership with growth on budget development and solution architecture
- Assists other department heads as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of (10) ten years of related experience within event production
