Summary

Coordinates the day-to-day activities and operations of an event team on various accounts. Responsible for monitoring costs for assigned accounts. Supervises and performs the delivery, set up, operation and dismantlement of equipment for customers and clients by ensuring the following duties occur.
Processes complex requirements, inquiries and/or complaints for specific client / account. Provides consistency in operational planning and delivery on assigned Corporate Account event Customer. Team members perform specialized tasks at varying levels of complexity and volume, based on progressive levels of expertise and experience.
This position will support our Event & Exhibit Services team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. This position is based out of Orlando, FL.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with account team as operational expert for account or specified corporate event.
  • Participates in internal event meetings, and Client operational meetings.
  • Basic understanding operationally of all internal specialties and services.
  • Communicates effectively with team and producing branch. Defines clients expectations.
  • Basic Computer Skills (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Basic problem solving skills
  • Basic leadership skills
  • Basic show site operation and logistics knowledge
  • 3 years of experience

Education & Experience

  • Proven ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills, collaboration, independent reasoning, discretion, analytical skills and judgment with applied business acumen
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly (verbal and written) with internal and external stakeholders as well as demonstrate and apply active listening skills; must be able to communicate a technical message to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external stakeholders is required
  • Must be a self-starter who thrives in a start-up environment: ability to work independently and take initiative is required
  • Must have a strong client service orientation
  • Meticulous attention to detail with proven organizational skills is required
  • Ability to work across multiple projects and clients within strict timelines is required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant experience in event industry roles required
  • Three (3) or more years performing similar duties
  • Knowledge of exhibitor and sponsorship programs is preferred
