Summary

The Associate Client Solutions Manager (ACSM) works directly with the customer to develop and manage all aspects of event production including budget development, timeline, design and creative. The ACSM works closely with the local branch delivery, logistics teams, and facility partners to ensure proper planning and successful event execution. While the Associate Client Solutions Managers main focus is on event production, they are also responsible for further discovery and introduction to new lines of business when appropriate.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and produce booked accounts (valued up to $250,000 per event) with a focus on job cost and profitability
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Act as primary customer contact for assigned accounts, with a focus on event development, customer service, budget management, and timeline
  • Develop and present event budget to customer that align with credit terms in compliance with Freeman policies and procedures
  • Create, build, and maintain pre-show budget for client review and approval
  • Ongoing communication with Account/Opportunity Owner to provide budget updates throughout the planning process and collaborate on final invoice
  • Participates with Account/Opportunity Owner to introduce additional Freeman services
  • Support and plan with larger Account Teams as needed on specific areas, activations, and/or sponsorships as a part of the Opportunity team.
  • Knowledgeable of Freeman suite of services and booking guidelines. Quote additional services as requested using Freeman Booking Guidelines
  • Well-versed in Freeman systems including EPS, Passport, and Salesforce
  • Responsible for exhibitor kit requests, floor plan development and requests, graphics approvals, and timely work tickets
  • Build, manage, and lead pre-production meeting with local branch delivery
  • Main point of contact for on-site management of events
  • Conduct site inspections, if required
  • Occasional travel and weekend hours will be required
  • Submit an itemized expense report for approval per company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Two years of sale/service experience preferred
  • Proven ability to successfully manage and produce profitable events
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications
  • Strong drive for personal growth and commitment to succeed
  • Demonstrated proficiency in accuracy and ability to prioritize
  • Excellent verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients and internal departments
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc
