Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal parts and structures according to blueprints and specifications. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in various metalworking techniques and the ability to operate specialized machinery.
Duties:
- Use press brake machines to bend, shape, and form metal pieces
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials
- Machine parts to precise specifications using lathes, mills, or other machining equipment
- Assemble fabricated parts into finished products
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role
- Proficiency in welding, soldering, and operating press brake machines
- Familiarity with machining techniques and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
