Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Monroe is taking applications for full-time and PRN LPN positions. We offer competitive rates plus $2.00 shift differential after 3:00 P.M. All full time positions are benefit eligible. PTO and Sick time are accrued beginning your first day and are available to use after a 90 day probationary period.

The LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psycho- social, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Communicates with physicians and team members about changes in patients' conditions, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomology.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Education: Certification from approved Practical Nursing Program

License: Licensed as a LPN to practice in the State of Louisiana.

Experience: One year LPN experience preferred. Previous experience with behavioral health and/or geriatrics strongly preferred.
