About the Company: Quality Conservation Services (QCS) provides FREE energy-saving improvements, including TESLA and Enphase whole home battery back-up systems, to middle- and lower-income households in the Greater Bay Area and in the Greater Los Angeles Area under contracts funded by California utilities, including Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), Southern California Edison (SCE), Southern California Gas (SCG) and Southwest Gas (SWG).

About the Position: The Permit Runner position is a full-time, entry level position based in our Concord, CA location.

The Permit Tech is primarily responsible for submitting, obtaining, and closing building permits from local jurisdictions for HVAC, Electrical, solar and other projects. Other responsibilities include working with residential customers to schedule inspection visits, drop off permits, scheduling HERS rater appointments, and supporting the project to ensure it remains on schedule.

The ideal candidate has a general understanding of the city building permitting process, is motivated to work in a fast pace environment, detail oriented to track timelines for dozens of projects at one time, and has basic computer skills for working with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Must be 21 or older, have a clean DMV report, and valid driver’s license.

Compensation:

$20 per hour Unlimited OT
