Qualifications:
Hold or be eligible for a Virginia license with endorsement in elementary education; Hold or pursuing a Virginia Postgraduate Professional license (Master's Degree) or equivalent from another state. Preference will be given to those with Master's degrees in Reading, Math, or Curriculum/Instruction. Must have 5 years successful experience as a classroom teacher. Preference will be given to those with Kindergarten through grade 5 experience, and to those with experience in instructional coaching at the elementary level. Candidates with National Board Certification and/or endorsements on the Virginia license in Teacher Leader or Mentor may be considered in lieu of certain experience requirements.
Pay Rate:
Teacher Salary Scale (credit is based on years of full-time experience in a related position)
