Assistant Manager - Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

We are rapidly expanding in New Jersey and are looking for a great assistant manager who loves working with people and wants to join a fast growing company. We are looking for the person who is passionate about their job and excited to come into work each day to work alongside a team that is almost like a second family. Our ideal candidate is skilled at communication and ready to tackle challenges. He or she can learn new tasks quickly while providing outstanding leadership to the team and a high-quality guest experience. The ideal candidate is looking for career and personal growth and has at least two years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a high volume fast-casual or quick-service concept, or a full service restaurant.

Responsibilities:

• Teaches and practices the Freddy’s standards of Hospitality, Quality, and Cleanliness.
• Leads by example, is vocal and prepared.
• Always willing to learn and is receptive to coaching and constructive criticism.
• Spends most of time on the restaurant floor rather than the office and is willing to work alongside team members.
• Maintains a sense of urgency and intensity at all times.
• Assesses staff performance, always coaches and develops.
• Consistently models exceptional Hospitality in every instance.
• Reduces waste, manages the team, and improves efficiency.
• Motivates and is always team building.

Requirements:

• Must have prior restaurant management experience, preferably in a high-volume, fast-casual, quick-service restaurant or full service restaurant
• Always willing to learn and is receptive to coaching.
• Must be able to work up to a 10-hour shift while standing or walking to perform essential functions
• Will be required to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and team members to ensure the safety of all parties
• Will require full range of physical motion such as: bending, reaching, climbing a ladder, etc.
