Fred's Towing in Davenport, Iowa is under new ownership and seeking an experienced Heavy Tow Truck Operator to join our growing team on 2nd shift! Fred's is looking for a candidate who has a minimum of one-year experience operating heavy wreckers. We are looking for someone who has the ability to understand the cause-and-effect relationship with operating rotators and heavy tow equipment in a recovery environment. Someone who is reliable, eager to work and has a strong work ethic. Someone who is committed and looking to be a part of our team long-term.

This position is a 2nd shift position with a rotating on-call schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in towing is required. Ideal applicants should have a minimum 1 year of experience and be familiar with towing and recovery techniques.

COMPENSATION:

Our heavy operators start at $25.00 per hour with a guaranteed 40-hours weekly. Any hours over 40-hours are paid out at time and a half. When covering your on-call rotation, there is a bonus of $12 per hour for any on-call work. That equates to $49.50 per hour during the week that you are on-call.
