The Cohn lab, within the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, focuses on understanding the interaction between HIV and the human immune system. Our studies utilize human immunology, virology, and state-of-the-art technologies to study clinical samples from people living with HIV. We focus our research on understanding the molecular, immunological and virologic forces that drive persistence of HIV-infected cells to inform cure strategies and identify novel drug targets.
The lab is recruiting a Software Development Engineer to design and develop software applications for new products or product enhancements where no optimal software solutions exist. The candidate will develop code to meet requirements and specifications of application. The candidate will perform testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of application throughout the development process and ongoing support and updates through the application lifespan. This is a senior-level position that operates under minimal supervision, works on complex projects requiring advanced knowledge and skills and may act as a lead or mentor to less experienced individuals.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $109,636.80 to $173,264.00 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
