Job Summary: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Responsibilities: - Assist individuals with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration - Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals - Assist with transportation to appointments and community outings - Implement individualized care plans and ensure the safety and well-being of individuals - Document and report any changes in behavior or health status - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care Requirements: - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred - Ability to provide patient care and demonstrate empathy and compassion - Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility needs - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality - Familiarity with first aid procedures and ability to monitor vital signs - Experience in senior care or nursing home settings is a plus Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
