Job Description

The Cook is responsible for preparing and serving food to the executive chef and other employees in accordance with Frank's Diner's recipes and procedures in an open kitchen.

Essential Duties:

• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Clean and maintain work stations and food services equipment and utensils
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and preparation methods
• Adhere to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures
• Maintain a positive working environment
• Other duties as assigned

Experience Requirements:

• Two years experience in a similar role
• Two years experience in a kitchen environment
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant preferred
• Ability to work in a high-stress environment
• Ability to work with and communicate with employees at all levels within the restaurant
• Must be able to work overtime as needed to meet the needs of the restaurant
• Must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time (up to 8 hours per day)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
