We are looking for highly qualified individuals with experience and an interest in working with students with intellectual disabilities at the high school level. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching and supporting students in both the general education classroom co-teaching as well as a self contained environment with modified curriculum. The candidate should demonstrate confidence, initiative, organization and the ability to independently problem solve complex situations related to learning. The ability to develop strong collaborative relationships and work as a member of a team to best meet the needs of students and families is essential.Given the high level of expertise of the staff, we are looking for a professional educator who enjoys working collaboratively to continue to grow their individual and our collective efficacy. The teacher will build relationships that enrich the experience of our students and make our community a better place to learn.Franklin is a suburb of Milwaukee and encompasses 34.6 square miles in southwestern Milwaukee County.
