DUTIES:
Provide students with theory and hands-on experience learning the educational platform including:

• Effective classroom management strategies
• Using the NYS Learning standards
• Exploration of careers in the K-12 education field
• Exploration of diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Development of a personal philosophy of teaching
• Review of childhood development and the role it plays in determining needs and services
• Exploration of professional ethics
• Child abuse and neglect
• Record keeping
• Other duties as assigned

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS: New York State Teacher Certification
BENEFITS: Pursuant to the applicable collective bargaining agreement
SALARY: $49,773 (2021-22 Base Salary Prorated for .5 FTE) - Consideration for additional salary may be granted based upon education and experience.Queries should be directed to:
