Our client, an international association supporting the construction industry and headquartered in Raleigh, NC , is actively recruiting for a bright and capable go-getter to provide operational and administrative support to its membership / credentialing department.
The organization provides professional development / certification programs to its members. This Specialist will support activities related to individuals seeking their designations within the organization’s programs and maintaining those designations through continuing educational hours.
They will be actively involved in processing credential applications and renewals as well as providing administrative support to the membership team.
Although credentialing experience would be a plus, they are willing to train an excellent candidate with similar application processing experience.
A keen eye for detail and strong compliance orientation will be critical.
Key Things to Note :
Seek meticulous candidate who enjoys processing work. Some bkgd in credentialing, licensing or other application processing is expected.
Selected duties include :
Assist with candidate questions
and providing credentials updates as necessary
Run reports and send out new credential cards and individual packets
weekly
Process and distribute invoices
Email registrants
advising of past due status, inactive status and assist with renewal processing
Mail suspension letters
Create and mail credential reinstatement notices
Review exam payment
s and exam registration form report
Send individual
exam request information to testing vendor
Notify applicants of retest eligibility
for credentials monthly
Compile data
for credential reports
Send out new certification and recertification materials
Assist membership department with
running membership cards and processing payments
Provide
secondary assistance with incoming phones and serve as backup for mail processing
Assist the membership department by
running membership cards twice a month
Assist the events department
with miscellaneous duties for the annual convention
Requirements include a related degree and 2 years of similar experience in application processing, paralegal work, etc. , ideally in a membership capacity or in the association space.
Experience working with a membership database is preferred Travel (domestic) to the annual conventional is expected ( 10 days).

This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days onsite in their downtown Raleigh office . Position is Contract-to-Hire paying $45-55K depending on experience.
