The Role You’ll Play to Create Success
We are excited to announce our search for a full-time Commercial Lines Underwriter! In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the FrankCrum business everyday by timely evaluation of individual risk and market conditions that result in a profitable and acceptable price for current and prospective clients.
The Attributes We Seek
Keys to success in this position include possessing the working knowledge of various lines of business, insurance coverages, FWCI Underwriting Guidelines and procedures, to make underwriting decisions. Knowledge of commercial casualty underwriting practices, workers’ compensation laws and costs, and independent agent and broker distribution and operations is preferred.
A minimum of three (3) years prior experience in commercial insurance to include agency and/or underwriting and a high school diploma (or equivalent) are required. Experience in Workers’ Compensation and Commercial General Liability and an associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience highly preferred.
