Job Summary:
As a Body Shop Apprentice at Frank Kent Motor Company, you will be responsible for assisting experienced technicians with repairing and refurbishing vehicles to meet the highest quality standards. This is a full-time, salaried position in the auto industry, based in Fort Worth, Texas. This is an individual contributor role where you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in your skills and expertise, while receiving support and guidance from our experienced team members.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with experienced technicians to learn and perform various tasks in the body shop, such as repairing, refinishing, and detailing damaged vehicles
- Assist with prep work, sanding and masking vehicles prior to paint application
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while handling tools and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Learn and utilize industry-specific software and technology to assist with repairs and tracking progress
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of work and adherence to quality standards
- Continuously strive to improve skills and knowledge through training and on-the-job experience
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in auto body repair preferred
- Prior experience in body shop or related field is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic knowledge and understanding of automotive systems and parts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
