Marine Technician

Frank Hall Boat Yard, Inc. is seeking an experienced Marine Technician to join its expanding team. The individual must have an extensive marine service/repair background. The technician position is responsible for maintaining customers boats, as well as troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues. This position is to join a team of dedicated technicians working in a busy full service marina. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of five years of experience in service within the marine industry.

Experience/Skills/Knowledge:

· A thorough understanding of all aspects of mechanical and specialized systems repair found on both power and sailboats.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent customer service skills.

· Excellent organizational and project management skills.

· Ability to work in a team setting.

· A commitment to consistently delivering quality service and excellent attention to detail.

· Commitment to continuous improvement and willingness to participate in continuing education/training opportunities as they are presented.

· Strong vessel operation skills.

· Ability to work independently or under direct instruction and complete projects on a timeline.

· Capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment focused on providing high level of customer service.

Compensation commensurate with experience. This position is full-time and offers an attractive benefit package. Benefit package to include:

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
