Job Summary:

The Continuous Improvement Manager collaborates with the entire plant team inleading and facilitating ongoing continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturingoperations. Reporting directly to the senior management team, you will facilitatea culture of zero-loss manufacturing by developing and implementing strategiesto optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency. Thisposition offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on ourcompany's success and drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development andimplementation of continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on Lean SixSigma methodologies and other best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functionalteams to identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, andcost savings.
  • Conduct thorough analyses ofcurrent processes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement andestablish measurable goals.
  • Provide training and coaching toemployees at all levels to foster a culture of continuous improvement andempower teams to drive change.
  • Lead and support Kaizen events,Rapid Improvement Workshops, and other improvement activities to drive tangibleresults.
  • Utilize data-drivendecision-making to track progress, measure performance, and identifyopportunities for further improvement.
  • Develop and maintain standardizedwork processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistency andefficiency across the organization.
  • Act as a change agent, drivingcultural transformation and promoting a mindset of continuous improvementthroughout the organization.
  • Partner with suppliers andexternal stakeholders to drive improvements in supply chain processes andrelationships.
  • Stay informed about industrytrends, emerging technologies, and best practices in continuous improvement tocontinuously enhance our processes and systems.

Position Qualifications:

  • 4 yr degree in Business Management, OrganizationalDevelopment, Engineering or other related fields is preferred
  • 3 years manufacturing experiencein a Continuous Improvement environment - TPM, Lean Manufacturing, SixSigma and related process improvement systems.
  • Proven track record of success inleading continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of Leanmanufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other continuousimprovement tools and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical skills withthe ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive decision-makingand process improvement.
  • Exceptional leadership andcommunication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and inspire teamsat all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive change andinfluence others to embrace continuous improvement as a core value.
  • Experience with project managementtools and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to workcollaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strongorganizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities anddeadlines effectively.
