Job Title: Construction Inspector
Job Summary: We are seeking a diligent and detail-orientedConstruction Inspector to join our team. The Construction Inspector will beresponsible for ensuring that construction projects comply with all relevantcodes, standards, and regulations. This role involves on-site inspections,documentation, and coordination with contractors, engineers, and projectmanagers to ensure the highest quality of construction and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspection and Compliance:
- Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to ensurecompliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Review plans, blueprints, and specifications to understandthe scope and requirements of the project.
- Verify that materials and workmanship meet the standards setby local, state, and federal regulations.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspections,including photographs, written reports, and checklists.
- Report findings to contractors, engineers, and projectmanagers, providing recommendations for corrections or improvements.
Coordination and Communication:
- Collaborate with construction managers, contractors, andother stakeholders to address and resolve issues promptly.
- Attend pre-construction meetings to discuss projectrequirements and inspection schedules.
- Provide guidance and clarification on building codes andstandards to contractors and construction teams.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest developments in constructionmethods, materials, and regulations.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction inspectionor a related role.
- Thorough understanding of building codes, regulations, andconstruction practices.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent observationalskills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, constructionplans, and specifications.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and technology,including tablets, cameras, and software applications.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Work Environment:
- The role requires regular travel to construction sites,which may involve exposure to various weather conditions and constructionhazards.
- The position may require working outside of regular businesshours to accommodate inspection schedules and project timelines.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, stand, and climb for extended periods.
