Position Overview: As a Civil CAD Technician, you will playa vital role in supporting our civil engineering projects by creating accurateand detailed technical drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. Theideal candidate will have experience in civil engineering drafting, knowledgeof industry standards, and the ability to collaborate effectively withengineering teams.

Responsibilities:

1. CAD Drafting for Civil Engineering Projects:Produce detailed civil engineering drawings, including siteplans, grading plans, utility plans, and profiles using CAD software (e.g.,AutoCAD, Civil 3D).Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards and projectspecifications.
2. Collaboration:Work closely with civil engineers and project managers tounderstand project requirements and objectives.Incorporate design changes and updates into drawings basedon feedback.
3. Quantity Takeoffs:Assist in the preparation of quantity takeoffs and materialestimates from civil engineering drawings.Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate andcomprehensive takeoff data.
4. Quality Control:Review and verify the accuracy of civil engineeringdrawings, identifying and correcting errors or discrepancies.Ensure compliance with regulatory and permittingrequirements.
5. Documentation:
   Organize and maintain project files, ensuring alldocumentation is up-to-date.
   Prepare and update drawings to reflect design changes andproject updates.

Qualifications:

1. Education:Associate degree or certification in Civil EngineeringTechnology or a related field.
2. Experience:Proven experience as a Civil CAD Technician in a civilengineering or related industry.Familiarity with Civil 3D and other relevant CAD tools.
3. Technical Proficiency:
   Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, with a focus on civilengineering applications.
   Familiarity with civil engineering design principles andstandards.
