Programmer Analyst - Pricing Project

Francios & Co. is an architectural elements manufacturer and importer committed to creating beautiful living spaces. We are looking for a talented Programmer Analyst to enhance our utilization of the Salesforce application to create on-line pricing capabilities. This in an intensive interim role which requires in-depth understanding of Excel and the ability to generate code for complex algorithms. The incumbent must have the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and create documentation of systems and processes.

Responsibilities

The Programmer Analyst’s role is to define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements. This includes writing, coding, testing, and enhancing software programs and applications. Initially, the Programmer Analyst will work with users to create pricing calculations in an Excel environment. Once thoroughly tested, the pricing calculations will be converted into a Salesforce architected solution for expedited online pricing.

Strategy and Planning

· Analyze and assess existing business systems and procedures. Collaborate with business units to identify emerging system requirements.

· Assist in defining software enhancement project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation of updates to Salesforce and other programs as needed.

Operational Management

· Liaise with stakeholders to assist in resolving problems with software products or software systems.

· Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications.

· Design, run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.

· Assist with the administration of Salesforce. Trouble shoot issues. Generate statistics and write reports for team members on program status.

· Develop and maintain user manuals and guidelines.

· Train end users to operate new or modified programs.

· Install software products for end users as required.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field OR equivalent experience.

· Two or more years of experience working with users to identify system requirements and create and execute project plans to meet those needs

· Knowledge of programming and application testing and implementation. Ability to generate code for complex algorithms.

· Extensive knowledge of Excel, SQL and data base management. Experience with Salesforce administration and its administration preferred.

· Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Effective interpersonal and written communication skills. Service ethic.

· Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

· Attention to detail.

This is envisioned as a short term role than may lead to a longer term role based on business needs and the incumbent. Candidates must reside in metro Atlanta.
