Overview

The Senior IT Business Analyst will manage, direct, and support deployment, maintenance, and other services related to the software applications used within the organization.

Specific Task/Duties

Directs, oversee, and assists with the selection, implementation, and installation of software applications used by the organization.

Provides guidance and consultation on applications and related services to other departments, which may include reviewing system documentation, feasibility, design, testing, and implementation.

Coordinates the resources needed to meet client and/or business objectives related to software applications.

Assesses hardware/software systems, applications, and processes to facilitate a larger information systems (IS) strategy.

Develops and adheres to departmental budget.

Coordinates orientation training classes during implementation.

Provides on-going end user training.

Works with the appropriate teams to confirm staff involvement and competency for projects as appropriate.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Collaborate with various business units and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, identifying areas for improvement in existing processes and recommending IT solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Collaborates with external vendors and partners, overseeing the procurement of IT solutions and managing vendor relationships to ensure service levels agreements are met.

Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and IT system enhancements, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

Works closely with the IT security team to ensure that ll implemented solutions comply with industry standards and internal security protocols.

Other Duties Required:

Supports, upholds, and maintains the Mission and Philosophy of the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago and promotes it positively in all business interactions within and outside the facility. Demonstrates loyalty and pride in the facility, its associates, and departments.

Respects and safeguards the confidentiality of information regarding residents/clients, co-workers, and the facility.

Projects a professional and caring demeanor in interactions with residents/clients, family members, visitors, and co-workers.

Accounts for maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly environment. Uses equipment, supplies, and other materials with a focused effort to reduce waste.

Demonstrates an attitude of teamwork when interacting with other associates within the facility. As such, consistently shows respect for self and others in a manner (body language, dress), word (spoken language), and action (behavior).

Accounts for job responsibilities by initiating prompt and appropriate action/follow-up to problems. Insures appropriate resolution.

Anticipates residents/clients and co-workers' needs in a pro-active fashion, seeking to meet those needs even before a formal request is made.

Excellent customer service and project management skills.

Ability to produce and maintain necessary documentation.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Ability to solve technical and operational problems.

Working knowledge of communication technology

Thorough understanding of internet, including experience with specific network environment and protocols in use.

Working knowledge of communication technology.

Ability to travel 10% on average, based on the work and need of the communities. (Driver license and Car require)

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Management or related information technology field. Masters Degree Preferred.

At least 5 years experience in application or systems administration and management

At least 2 years experience in a leadership role
