WHAT YOU WILL DO

• This is a virtual Medical Assistant position. You will be rooming patients and scheduling patients (Plus other responsibilities) all virtually.

• Ensure the integrity of the drug screen collection bathroom.

• Ensure all non-disposable instruments requiring sterilization are clean and sterile.

• Count and log medications daily.

• Calibrate equipment daily and maintain proper equipment logs.

• Monitor temperature logs daily for variances.

• Perform Point of Care (POC) testing, interpret the results to guide care.

• Prepare the patient for examination and perform necessary clinical procedures.

• Monitor inventory needs for required department equipment and supplies; place orders as required to maintain appropriate inventory levels.

• Attend offsite wellness events; coordinate and bring all needed supplies; return supplies and route specimens to correct location after the event.

• Perform and/or assist with necessary clinical assessments and data collections.

• Collect and properly documents DOT and non-DOT Drug Screens Chain-of-Custody.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma/GED Required

• CMA Certificate Required

• BLS - within 90 Days Required

• Department of Transportation (DOT) - Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) - . within 90 Days Required
