WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

X-rays, MRIs, CT scans… each of these images are important diagnostic tools for physicians. Those physicians rely on professionals preparing and documenting those images. They require someone who will also treat their patients with compassion and understanding. It’s about more than just the right image, it’s about making the process as comfortable as possible for each and every patient.
What you will do

• Assist with developing x-ray films through automatic processing equipment.

• Properly position the patient for the examination while practicing proper radiation protection.

• Provide attention and concern for the physical and psychological needs of the patient under the direct supervision of the Supervising Technologist.

• Display an ability to be observant and perceptive to changing patient conditions.

• Maintain knowledge of and observe Universal Precautions.

• Interact effectively with team members.

• Communicate appropriately and effectively with hospital staff, patients, guests, and co-workers.

• Follow through on all assignments attending to all details.

• Work appropriately with others to complete work assignments.

• Strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor's Degree

• Required Enrolled in program

• 1 year Emergency Services Preferred
