WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Assist in facility electrical systems management including PM development, budgeting, system assessments, and life cycle planning.
• Assist in the temporary shutdown of facility electrical equipment, systems, and electrical components necessary for renovation and new construction projects.
• Design, construct, install and remove various facility electrical equipment, systems, and electrical components.
• Diagnose malfunctions in the facility's electrical equipment, systems, or electrical components and take appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
• Maintain appropriate documentation for the facility's electrical equipment, systems, and electrical components.
• Maintain appropriate inventory of replacement electrical equipment and systems.
• Maintain the computerized maintenance management system through the appropriate completion of work orders and the recording of equipment history.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on all facility electrical equipment, systems, and components in accordance with prescribed procedures.
• Provide quality control for new installations or replacements of facility electrical equipment, systems, and electrical components performed by others.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate degree in construction, electrical, or electronics field of study required OR High School Diploma with Master Electrician Certification / electrical vocational training required
• 5 years of experience in electrical field required
• 3 years of hospital maintenance, construction, or mechanical system experience preferred
• Master Electrician License required within 1 year of hire
• Journeyman license or electrical certificate required
