JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE :
Provides leadership and supervision during recess time to ensure a safe and harassment free environment for all students.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Recess Para : Education- Minimum sixty (60) college credit hours. As a condition of continued employment, job incumbent must have and retain a valid Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate.
Is required to attend and document 15 hours of training during the first year of employment and 10 hours each year thereafter, as mandated by DESE.
Recess Assistant : Recess Assistant-High School Diploma and / or training related to working with children
Salary : Recess Assistant - $15.89
Recess Paraprofessional - $17.06
