About the Role:

We have an exciting internship opportunity to support our Technology team as an Intern - Digital - Integration based in the USA. The Digital Integration Intern will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and documentation of interfaces among Subway's internal systems and to external partner systems. Responsibility will include using the AWS platform to build API's and integrations while working with other development teams across the organization to ensure high availability, accuracy and performance.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop new or upgrade existing middleware services as part of our Subway platform for internal and external integration.
• Build and unit test integration components.
• Create new or update existing documentation pertaining to middleware services.

Qualifications:

• Student must be enrolled at a four (4) year college or university for the duration of the internship.
• Overall cumulative minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) required.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Programming or related field of internship.
• Undergraduate students must have completed at least minimum of 75 credit hours (rising Senior)
• Must be willing to be on site in Shelton during the internship.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Experience in a modern programming languages such as C , Java, or JavaScript preferred, Node.js is a plus.
• Interest in mathematical skills a plus.
• Demonstrate strong verbal/written communication skills.
• Experience developing software, with excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholder teams and align toward common goals and outcomes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to successfully juggle multiple initiatives and manage changing priorities.
