We are currently seeking an experienced Full-Time Aquarium Service and Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Job Description:

The Full-Time Aquarium Service and Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and servicing aquariums for our commercial and residential clients. The technician will perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Cleaning aquariums, aquarium equipment, and associated parts

• Testing water quality and making necessary adjustments

• Maintaining filtration systems, including canister filters, protein skimmers, and sumps

• Feeding fish and other aquatic animals according to their dietary needs

• Performing regular maintenance tasks such as water changes and gravel vacuuming

• Troubleshooting and repairing equipment as needed

• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining positive relationships with clients

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• At least 2 years of experience in aquarium maintenance or a related field, extensive hobby experience also considered

• Knowledge of aquarium equipment, including filters, pumps, and lighting systems

• Familiarity with aquatic life and their care requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Wednesdays and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
