The lead material handler is responsible for providing guidance to other material handlers performing administrative and physical tasks within a warehouse. This position will be looked to as a leader on the floor and a resource for the material handlers as they will be a SME (Subject Matter Expert) in all functions of the day to day tasks within the operation.

**In this role, you will:**

* Ensure our clinicians have the supplies they need to provide our patients with high quality care

* Work with supervisor or manager to provide quality reports and feedback to the warehouse staff

* Frequently interact with management and other functional groups involving cross functional matters Is seen as expert and mentor as well as modeling best practices, where others "follow" and are not "managed"

* Provide training to new employees which includes, but not limited to, shadowing of the lead ensuring core tasks of the day to day functions are reviewed and understood

* Deliver guidance to material handlers ensuring efficient workflow in the receiving and shipping areas

* Process receiving of product against purchase orders ensuring proper quantity and quality of product

* Physical put away of product into locations

* Maintain accuracy of material inventory and locations performing cycle counts as needed

* Pick and pack material in an organized and logical manner in preparation for staging

* Stage material appropriately in preparation of loading and shipping for final delivery

* Ensure material handlers are keeping receiving areas, shipping areas, aisles, and racks free of hazards or obstructions

**Qualifications**

* High School Diploma or GED required

* Fork Lift Certification preferred

* Management and/or Team Lead Experience preferably in a Warehouse setting
