Underground Utility Foreman:

FPS Civil is seeking Wet Utilities Foreman with knowledge and experience in working and managing civil infrastructure construction projects ranging from heavy industrial, heavy civil, wet underground utilities, pump stations, lift stations, water/wastewater treatment facilities, and municipal capital water & sewer improvement projects. Candidate must have experience and knowledge of working in deep excavations that require extensive shoring solutions to complete assigned projects. This position will require strong leadership, planning/scheduling, and communication skills. Candidate will assist in managing and overseeing construction projects, planning & sequencing of work tasks, monitoring job costs & fine tuning when necessary to ensure budgets are met. Candidate is also responsible for creating and maintaining pre-task plans, daily reporting of completed quantities, and equipment hours as well as material coordination, subcontractor management, management of field employees, equipment, and other resources on assigned projects. This role will require teamwork and close coordination with assigned Superintendent, Project Manager, Safety Manager, Estimator(s), and FPS ownership to complete assigned projects and to brainstorm cost saving solutions on current or future projects. Candidate must have the ability to maintain good relationships with customers, employees, subcontractors, and material suppliers and do whatever it takes to complete assigned projects safely, on time, and under budget. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years wet utility and heavy civil infrastructure construction experience. OSHA 30 and Maricopa County Dust Card preferred. Candidate must possess a valid Arizona driver license with acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy. Minimum 50 hours per week with some weekend and night work required. Construction job site environments in heavily congested construction site locations throughout Arizona. PPE gear required (steel toe boots, hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, and any other project specific gear) required on all construction sites.
