Accountants are responsible for producing accurate and timely monthly financial reporting for a specified portfolio of communities. Property Accountants work closely with various departments within FPI, as well as FPI's Clients on a continual basis.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Basic Accounting experience and thorough understanding of GAAP. Experience in the property management industry, preferred.
• Must be able to work efficiently in a digital environment (paperless) and have intermediate to advanced proficiency in Google Apps (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets), and Adobe Acrobat, and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Yardi and RealPage experience a plus.
• Must have a strong work ethic, be self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Is highly analytical and possesses superb attention to detail, organization and multitasking abilities.
• Must be a creative problem-solver with excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and a positive attitude.
• Takes great pride in the quality of their work and is passionate about providing exemplary customer service!

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY, as this position is not approved for telecommuting (WFH).
• High School diploma or equivalency certificate required. College degree (Accounting, Economics), preferred.
• English language proficiency (read, speak and write).
