Great opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to work for a global manufacturing leader located in Goshen, IN

Our client is diversified leader on a global scale specializing in vehicle, RV, and Marine components looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to be responsible for developing and implementing improvements in a highly automated manufacturing process environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Manufacturing Operations with continuous improvement and process optimization programs.
• Develop layouts (AutoCad, DWG),
• Prepare time and motions studies, BOM’s, routings, Work Instructions
• Chart process flow, Control plans, PFMEA
• Perform research on best materials and methods for manufacturing
• Prepare and maintain Gantt charts
• Provide support for any major equipment and process installation and setup.
• Interface with equipment manufacturer, operations, maintenance, safety, and quality
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to production technicians, operators and other production personnel.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for existing systems.
• Establish maintenance schedules, calibration needs, safety guarding and procedures, etc

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering
• 2 years of experience working within a manufacturing engineering environment
