Position Overview: The General Laborer plays a vital role within the country club's grounds crew, focusing on maintaining the golf course and surrounding landscapes. This role encompasses physically demanding tasks related to landscaping and irrigation system upkeep.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with landscaping tasks such as mowing, planting, and trimming to uphold the golf course's appearance.
• Collaborate in the installation and repair of irrigation systems, including digging trenches and aiding in sprinkler head replacements.
• Operate and maintain equipment like mowers, trimmers, and blowers, adhering to safety guidelines.
• Contribute to soil preparation, fertilization, and aeration activities to facilitate healthy turf growth.
• Support the implementation of landscape design plans, including the care of flower beds, shrubs, and trees.
• Participate in the maintenance of walkways, cart paths, and common areas for safety and aesthetics.
• Assist in special projects and events requiring landscaping support.
• Maintain an organized workspace and proper storage of tools and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and share insights.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is advantageous.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and operate machinery.
• Basic understanding of irrigation systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and an appreciation for aesthetics.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Physical Requirements:

• Capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
