WORK IS PERFORMED ON-SITE IN NAPERVILLE OFFICE Monday-Friday

Fox Valley Institute is a well-established, innovative, full-service behavioral health group practice that is transforming the health and wellness industry.

Our dynamic team is comprised of psychologists, therapists, interns, and an energetic administrative department.

Fox Valley Institute (FVI), located in Naperville, Illinois, is a multi-award winning counseling practice focused on helping people reach their greatest potential.

FVI is actively seeking qualified applicants who are passionate about superior client care, excited to make an impact from day one and who are dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for everyone they come in contact with at Fox Valley Institute.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Create memorable and personalized experiences for Fox Valley Institute clients and team by providing support and promptly responding to inquiries over phone and email
  • Schedule and confirm client appointments
  • Maintain provider schedules
  • Verify confidential client demographics, insurance information, method of payment and referral source information
  • Respond to inquiries from clients, providers and insurance companies providing solutions to needs
  • Maintain and follow-up client waitlist via phone or email
  • Responsible for collecting, posting and managing account payments
  • Responsible for office administration duties including assisting clients in lobby, light housekeeping and occasional clerical duties, as needed
  • Maintain the strictest patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines
  • Possess a commitment to service, organizational values and professionalism through appropriate conduct, demeanor and attire
  • Adhere to organizational and departmental specific safety standards and guidelines
  • Willingness to perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications and Requirements :

  • Minimum 2 years college
  • 2 years experience working in a medical office
  • High degree of attention to detail and superior customer service skills
  • Knowledge of managed care, medical insurance and billing practices
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Google applications with strong data entry skills
  • Strong work ethic, self-starter, organized and a quick learner with a history of excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas in verbal and written form so that others can clearly understand
  • Ability to take and give direction to see objectives to completion
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, leadership team, psychologists / therapists, and administrative team

Preferable :

Experience in a Behavioral / Mental Health Practice

Physical Demands :

  • Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach and twist
  • Lift, carry, push and / or pull light to moderate amounts of weight
  • Operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard
