The primary purpose of the Speech Therapist will be to provide therapy to children with disabilities at their school or home setting. The Speech Therapist is expected to create and carry out treatment plans and evaluate the needs of students.

Responsibilities:
Delivery of services to school aged children ranging in ages from 5-18 years
Manage schedule to maximize IEP compliance (i.e., see all students on caseload per schedule)
Attend meetings with parents, classroom teachers, and school district representatives
Write daily and quarterly progress reports on progress toward IEP objectives
Write progress notes for case reviews and special meetings

• Develops and reviews patient care plans.
• Participates in clinical quality assurance initiatives
• Provides patient education through verbal explanation, visual demonstration, or written documentation
• Participate in all departmental in-services and staff development activities

Requirements:
Speech Therapist License (NYS) CCC
1 year experience in clinical pediatric environment preferred
NYSED Fingerprint clearance
