Position Summary: The role is responsible for fulfilling hub assembly and wheel building activities as per provided work instructions and that meet specifications and Quality Control requirements. Wheel operations utilize wheel lacing machine and robot truing equipment to build finished wheels to world class specifications. This role also assists in troubleshooting and supporting preventative maintenance of wheel equipment. Position Responsibilities: Ensure all wheels are built well and meet all QC requirements including calibrating Lacing Machine and Truing Robot, assembly on bicycle hubs prior to lacing, operating lacing machine, supporting and analyzing data from wheel truing robot, perform final inspection of wheels, apply taping, and support final packaging. Complete wheel builds in accordance with wheel build schedule. Perform data recording of production data in tracking logs to monitor and support reporting of key metrics. Support the troubleshooting of equipment issues. Perform preventative maintenance as required. Support the management of equipment spare parts inventory. Advise Supervisor and Engineering of any identifies issues. Follow new BOMs, specifications, and QC requirements to build new wheel models to support new model testing and production verification. Maintain a clean and organized wheel build line. Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required: Basic to strong machine troubleshooting experience. Strong communication skills. Ability to read technical drawings and quality and process documentation. Proficient computer skills. Ability to work within a very fast paced environment, meet productivity goals, and have fun with a very dynamic team.
