Fovea Aero Systems is Hiring an A&P I/A Aircraft Mechanic Near Tobyhanna, PA

Asan A&P I/A, you will conduct aircraft maintenance, repairs and upgrades and will assist with overseeing the maintenance operations of our aircraft fleet and customer aircraft, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining the highestlevelsof safety and reliability. You will assist with dev~loping and mentoring a team of-skilledmechanicsand apprentice mechanics. Yourroleinvolves ensuringsafeand efficient maintenance operations,collaboratingwithothercompany departments, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct aircraft maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Provide exceptionalcustomerservice to maintenance customers.
  • Assist the Director of Aircraft Maintenance in managing and overseeing aircraft maintenance operations.
  • Assist withthedevelopment andimplementationof maintenance programs and schedules to ensure the timely and efficient servicing of the aircraft fleet.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with regulatory requirements,industrystandards,and company policies.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to maintenance staff and supervise mechanic apprentices, ensuring proper training, certification, and performance standards are met.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including flight operations,flightschool, and aircraft management, to optimize aircraft maintenance processes and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records o f maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and modifications, in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Coordinate with external maintenance vendors and service providers to ensure timely andcost-effective maintenanceservices.
  • Stay informed about advancements in aircraft technology,maintenance practices,and regulatory requirements, and implement best practices as appropriate.

Requirements

  • A&PI/A certification.
  • Minimumof6 yearsofexperience in aircraft maintenance.
  • Extensive knowledgeofaircraft systems, components, and maintenance practices for various typesofaircraft.
  • Strong understanding of aviation regulations, including FAA/EASA requirements and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills,with the ability to motivate andinspire a team.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail. Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software applications.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Additional Requirements

  • Maintain A&PI/Acertification through continuing education and recurrent training.
  • Be availableforoccasional on-call and after-hours maintenance needs.
  • Pass a background check and a pre-employment background check.
  • Comply withcompany and FAA alcohol and drug policies.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license.
