The Vaccine Pharmacy Technician serves as an integral member of the pharmacy vaccine team, and is responsible for providing low barrier access to adult and pediatric patients in need of immunizations. The VPT will be involved in vaccine education, administration, and chart scrubs for outstanding vaccine needs for pediatric and adult patients that are seen through main and outreach clinics. This position will also be cross-trained to support in-clinic basic pharmacy dispensing operations.

This role is perfect for Utah-licensed Pharmacy Technicians who:

• Are seeking a role which provides the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable populations in our area.
• Have prior experience in vaccine management and/or administration (or similar equivalent work experience).
• Excel in balancing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Have strong organizational proficiency with an emphasis on accurate prioritization of organizational needs.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills to provide patient education at all literacy levels.
• Thrive productively in their autonomous work, but also cooperate as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate, timely, and positive clinic flow.
• Have the flexibility in their schedule to meet varying needs of the population served or vaccine events which may at times extend beyond traditional business hours.
• Have experience working with governmental, non-profit, or for-profit health centers (preferred but not essential).
• Ability to speak Spanish is preferred, but not required.
