Four Winds Manor is Hiring a Resident Assistant Near Madison, WI
- Assists residents with activities of daily living as needed, ensuring optimal health and safety of each resident.
- Monitors the health and emotional status of each resident.
- Follows physician orders, including the supervision and documentation of medication intake, as well as lab and x-ray orders.
- Ensures the accuracy of distributed medication through the use of proper protocol.
- Serves meals and assists in the feeding of residents.
- Assists with resident activities on an as-needed basis.
- Provides accurate and appropriate documentation regarding resident health.
- Reports observed resident signs, symptoms, and changes in resident conditions to the RN.
- Actively listens to resident's expression of needs or concerns and reports them to the RN when appropriate.
- Demonstrates utilization of good basic communication skills in resident care.
- Assists with light housekeeping as needed
- Cleans and maintains selected equipment
- Assists with special cleaning projects as assigned
- Demonstrates ability to independently recognize lodge and/or resident needs and respond appropriately.
- Responds to call lights promptly.
