Four States Dental Care is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Neosho, MO

We are looking for a dental assistant to round out our energetic & passionate team!

Our office is all about patient care, teamwork, and having fun. A positive and friendly personality is essential as you will play a significant role in maintaining patient relationships. Candidates should also be organized and have attention to detail.

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll enjoy state-of-the-art technology while surrounded by camaraderie and support. This is where patients come first, and continuous learning is encouraged! Hard-working and motivated, the successful candidate will bring a passion for providing the best patient care to the communities they serve.

Chair Side Assisting

  • Sets up operatory and/or surgery suite for planned dental procedures and cleans dental unit for timely turnover.
  • Passes instruments safely, accurately, and efficiently. Keeps operative field clear of debris and retracts oral tissues effectively and comfortably. Prepares dental medicaments and impression materials per manufacturer's instructions.
  • Accomplishes all intra-operative procedures within standard infection control protocols.
  • Assists in routine general dental procedures.
  • Assists in specialized dental procedures, such as oral and maxillofacial surgery, endodontics, implants, and surgical periodontics.

Dental Imaging

  • Images are characterized by diagnostic quality, accurately oriented, and exposed.
  • Dental imaging safety techniques are utilized, and retakes are minimized.
  • Imaging requests are accomplished within the desired time frame.
  • Knowledge and proper use of digital radiographs.

Infection Control and Equipment Sterilization

  • Demonstrates proper infection control procedures in setting up and cleaning up after procedures.
  • Instruments are prepared adequately for sterilization by SPS standards.
  • Instruments are prepared in a manner that does not delay clinical care.
  • Demonstrates proper infection control procedures in dental images.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment
  • If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Experience

  • 1 years of experience in a dental setting required
  • Eaglesoft or other dental software experience preferred

Location

  • 2040 LaQuesta Dr., Neosho, MO 64850

Hours

  • Monday - Thursday: 7:30 am - 5 pm
  • One Friday a Month: 7:30 am - 3 pm
  • Quarterly - All company training - Friday's

Our Dental Assistant's income is based on experience with team activities like CE trips and shopping sprees.
