Title: IT Network Administrator II (Network Admin II)

Department: Information Technology (IT)

Reports to: IT Director/IT Manager

Overall responsibilities

Support technology equipment, applications, and assist users in their function while maintaining and deploying network infrastructure.

Pay ranges from $80,000 to $85,000.

Key areas of responsibilities

• Design and manage deployments of network infrastructure
• Deploy, maintain, and support network infrastructure
• Support end users in day to day use of technology systems
• Install, support, and maintain technology systems
• Assist in auditing or tracking of technology systems
• Escalate issues to management or other technology personnel as needed
• Respond as directed in crises situations
• Perform other duties as needed

Technology systems relate to: Computer systems, terminals, printers, LAN/wireless phones or other technology peripherals

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a IT related field or equivalent work experience
• Additional 3 to 5 years of work experience in a Network Administrator role
• Strong sense of customer service
• Strong desire to learn and general attention to detail
• 2 or more years of experience as a Computer Support Technician
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills and general technical knowledge
• Ability to communicate at both technical and nontechnical levels
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other job specific tools
