Responsible for the preparation and execution of food in large volumes for the employees of the hotel.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills 

• Prepare food of consistent quality following Chef's recipes

• Date all food containers and rotate per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

• Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to prepare over estimated needs

• Practice sanitation standard. Make sure that all perishables are being kept at the proper temperatures

• Applicants are required to have at least 2 years of culinary experience in a similar environment

• A culinary degree ispreferred

• Required to hold a current Illinois Food Handlers Certificate

• Applicants must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.

• Strong command of the English language

• Requires attention to detail and problem solving skills, as well asa passion for customer service

• Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States
