IDC/Foundry is seeking a Senior writer for our CIO.com business. The position reports to the Executive Editor. The senior writer’s coverage should make CIO.com a must-read destination for senior IT leaders by delivering articles tailored to help our audience better direct their organizations, IT strategies, and careers.
Coverage could include reporting on industry developments; rendering sharp analysis of IT news, research, or surveys; profiling the transformational efforts of CIOs; explaining complex technologies or concepts and connecting them to the broader business context; or examining trends of particular interest to IT leaders through more in-depth reporting.

Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process taking into account the experience, education, certifications and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated team members, as well as employer-verified region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner. At IDG, Inc., we are committed to fair and equitable pay practices. Expected salary, dependent upon experience and location is between $70,000 and $105,000 USD which includes base and bonus (if applicable).
