We are accepting applications for bakery and deli sales associate (Part-Time) positions at Foundry Bakehouse & Deli. Shifts range from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Tuesdays through Saturdays. The hiring process will prioritize availability for opening shifts (6 AM start). Flexibility to school/family schedules is possible. Successful candidates are individuals who are energetic, outgoing, reliable, flexible, attentive to details, calm during busy times, proactive, and put customers first.

The Foundry Bakehouse & Deli is a four-year-old business in the historic downtown of Albion, MI, in a newly renovated kitchen. Work with our bakery consultant and other team members to help shape and develop the Foundry into a destination spot for individuals across Michigan.

Successful bakery-deli sales associate and cashier (part-time) candidates likely have the following characteristics

• Has experience working in a quick-serve restaurant or another relevant cashier role
• Comfortable using computers and Point of Sales Systems
• Demonstrates a passion for working in the front of house
• Detail-oriented and can multi-task effectively
• Comfortable following established systems or solving problems on the fly, depending on the situation
• Possesses strong interpersonal skills
• High level of interest in learning about food, people and business.
