Founders Plaza Nursing & Rehab is Hiring a Wound Care Nurse Near Wylie, TX

$38/hr for RN; $32/hr for LVN
This role has Administrative and Infection Control duties and shares on-call duties with ADON
Wound care experience preferable 
The Wound Care Nurse makes a difference by - 
The Wound Care Nurse works in harmony with the nursing staff assessing, treating, and creating care plans for patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and/or continence conditions. If you are a Wound Care Nurse with a true passion for patient care and compassion for others and a commitment to teamwork, apply today!
  • Provide consultation and direct assistance in the management of patients with altered skin integrity (pressure necrosis, wounds, fistulas, etc).
  • Offer in-service programs as needed to assist nursing, rehabilitation and medical staff to maintain knowledge and competence in wound care.
  • Collect, analyze and document information and statistics related to wounds in the facility, as well as perform clinical evaluations for potential wound admissions. 
You could be a great fit if you have these things:
  • Must be a licensed RN or LPN in good standing with the state (as required)
  • 1-2 years wound care experience required
  • Wound Care Certification (WOCN) preferred
  • 1 years of long term care experience preferred
