Position : Foundation Coordinator

Position Summary :

The Foundation Coordinator attends the daily functions of the Business Systems department. This position performs tasks as delegated by the Director of Business Systems and works in partnership with other employees in the department.

Also, this position supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all customer groups.

Job Duties / Responsibilities :

Utilizes the appropriate skills in accepting responsibilities of assignment, while implementing teamwork techniques and effective communications which contribute to the overall operation of the department.

Understands, participates in and contributes in quality improvement process for the department and the institution.

Qualifications

Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years job related experience, recommended
  • Some college education in related field, desirable
  • Flexibility, self-motivation and high tolerance for stressful situations, preferred

Physical and Sensory Requirements :

  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to communicate with patients, families, staff, physicians, support agencies, vendors and others
  • Ability to remain calm under stress
  • Ability to respond to pages, telephones and other auditory stimulation
  • Ability to evaluate and interpret information and make independent decisions
  • Bending, lifting (10-20 lbs), grasping, find hand / eye coordination, pushing and pulling, prolonged standing or sitting
  • Ability to understand and interpret financial data
  • Ability to tolerate low noise levels for prolonged periods
  • Ability to function when exposed to hazardous chemicals and / or biological materials
  • Ability to discriminate color
