Pay & Benefits:
This position is responsible for collection, inventory, cleaning and distribution of medical supplies and patient care equipment for the unit. This position is also responsible for miscellaneous tasks such as transporting patients and supplies, and may include transporting health records, lab specimens and equipment to other areas. This position may provide basic, hands-on, patient care as requested by supervisor.

BLS certification required.
Requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team without continuous supervision. Must be able to interpret and respond to verbal and written instructions. Must be able to communicate effectively with others by phone and verbally. Must be able to read and understand material safety data sheets and instructions for mixing and use of cleaning chemicals, and able to fill out chemical identification stickers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of patient related supplies, materials, equipment, and aseptic techniques are preferred. Working knowledge of medical terminology and previous experience in a healthcare acute setting is preferred.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
