Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, a subsidiary of Foundation Health Partners, is searching for a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our highly experienced Anesthesia team.

The Opportunity:

As part of a rural health system, you will have the unique opportunity to work on procedures no matter the specialty, allowing you to round out your skills and expand your breadth of experience. Your general anesthesia practice may include cases in OB/GYN, Ortho, ENT, Vascular, Podiatry, General Surgery, Plastics, Healthy Peds, etc.

  • Compensation: Shift rate is $1618/shift, $860/call shift. $40k sign-on bonus.
  • Schedule: 5 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation. Minimum of 152 OR shifts per year, 45 call shifts.
  • Patients: 5-7 ORs daily with one additional out-of-OR assignment
  • Team: 5 full time Anesthesiologists and 10 CRNAs

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess knowledge of clinical care and patient treatment as normally obtained through the completion of master’s degree in nursing. Must have completed a graduate program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.

Must be approved to practice as a Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetist (NBCRNA).

Must possess a valid current or temporary Alaska RN license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Doctorate degree preferred.

Experience working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a CRNA preferred.

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
