We provide clients with a flexible offering of project engagement that ranges across consulting, engineering, design-build, and/or mixed execution through project start-up.

Foth is on the lookout for a detail-oriented, professional, and proactive Project Accountant who is eager to embrace new learning opportunities, career growth, and the chance to work with an exceptional team of professionals. This critical full-time role is based in our Green Bay, WI office, where you will be an integral part of our dynamic finance team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of detailed cost estimates for client proposals to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. 
  • Manage project information within the ERP system with precision, ensuring all data is current and correctly classified. 
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of client-specific standards for invoicing and contracts, preparing and submitting invoices with the necessary documentation. 
  • Review and interpret client and supplier contracts to ensure financial project deliverables are aligned with the agreed terms. 
  • Interact with suppliers and subcontractors on invoicing matters, focusing on the detailed review of schedules of values and lien waivers. 
  • Review and approve team member expense reports, ensuring adherence to the company’s financial policies. 
  • Oversee the proper accounting and consultation of project financial information, including the preparation and reconciliation of project revenue and expense accruals in strict accordance with GAAP standards. 
  • Ensure diligent preparation, review, and monitoring of project financial reports, schedules, and invoices to maintain financial integrity. 
  • Proactively monitor and manage purchase orders and the receipt of payments, maintaining a streamlined financial workflow. 
  • Generate and analyze project cash flows in alignment with project budgets and schedules to manage financial performance effectively. 
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field, signifying a strong foundation in financial principles. 
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, demonstrating a track record of meticulous financial management and accuracy. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, capable of managing complex financial formulas and data analysis tasks. 
  • Proven experience with Deltek Vision and familiarity with Microsoft's suite of project management tools, including SharePoint and MS Project. 
  • Experience in assisting with the preparation of contracts, showcasing an ability to navigate and interpret complex contractual documents.
